North Atlantic Books

Letter from the Publisher

Dear Reader,

You may have heard that there have been some significant organizational shifts at North Atlantic Books of late. This month, our Executive Director/Publisher Douglas Reil decided to step down to pursue other endeavors. Over his nine years at NAB, Doug was a positive and steady force, and we are grateful for all he has contributed to the press.

I am honored to fill the role of Interim Publisher. After three years here as Acquisitions Manager and Director of Publishing, I am continually inspired by our staff, authors, and our unique position as a nonprofit publisher within the publishing world.

While many things have changed—and will continue to change—both here at NAB and in the world of publishing at large, we remain true to our roots: Richard Grossinger continues to act as Founding Publisher, focusing on acquisitions and his own writing (his latest, New Moon: A Coming of Age Tale, will be released next month), and we continue to publish cutting-edge books on the transformation of self, society, and consciousness.

We are excited about the ongoing evolution of our organization. We remain committed to exploring new ways of providing you with the compelling content you’ve come to expect from us: in print books, ebooks, audiobooks, in our newsletter, and on our blog. We are also excited to announce several forthcoming online education courses, due to release in the near future—stay tuned for more on that!

We are grateful to have you as part of the North Atlantic Books community. I look forward to the unfolding path in our collective quest to bring about transformation.

Best,

Tim McKee
