The Diary of a Teenage Girl Soundtrack to Be Released on Vinyl
Categories: Literature & the Arts
The film adaptation of Phoebe Gloeckner’s The Diary of a Teenage Girl starring Bel Powley, Kristen Wiig, and Alexander Skarsgård is set to be released on August 7th. As the publisher of the graphic novel on which it’s based, to say we’re very excited for the film would be a massive understatement.
Amidst the news of all the early accolades the film has been receiving, it piqued our interest to see that Rhino Records is releasing the soundtrack on vinyl the same day that the film hits theaters. While supporters of all reading methods, we still find the unique pleasure derived from reading the printed word unapproachable. The warmth of the audio and the size of the artwork brings out the same feeling for vinyl devotees. In the spirit of that kinship, we’re sharing the news of this very cool release.
