1) The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know Is Possible by Charles Eisenstein

In the challenging times we live, inspiration to carry on and be reminded that our good works in the world really do make a difference is critical. This is what Charles offers in his book and I can’t wait to dive in.
2) Love, Life, and Elephants: An African Love Story by Dame Daphne Sheldrick
One of my mentors and a leading voice for conservation. The book is about her extraordinary life caring for and loving animals.
3) Ruling Your World: Ancient Strategies For Modern Life by Sakyong Mipham
It is one of those books I keep on my night stand to pick up often and remind me to remain truly “awake” as I live each day.
4) Radical Passion: Sacred Love and Wisdom in Action by Andrew Harvey
This another book I keep on my night stand, each time I open it there is a new message of courage, love, and fearless acton in the world.
5) Second Wave Spirituality: Passion for Peace, Passion for Justice by Chris Saade
(part of NAB’s Sacred Activism Series)
Chris understands we are in a spiritual renaissance, we can all benefit from his amazing insight as to how to evolve from mental to spiritual beings.

During the 14 years that Linda Bender spent living in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, her veterinary work included the rescue, rehabilitation, and protection of wildlife. Her interest in spirituality and healing led her to found the Mind the Gap Wellness Center as well as a pet-therapy program. She is a certified practitioner of Energy for Life and is a cofounder of the nonprofit organization From the Heart. The author lives in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
