Categories: Bodywork & Somatics New Release
Understanding trigger points can provide a solution to many of our everyday aches and pains, from neck tightness to splitting headaches. Though trigger point theory may seem complex, The Concise Book of Trigger Points simplifies the science and clearly explains how to use trigger points to alleviate pain.
The previous editions of this book have set the standard for providing a clear and concise understanding of trigger point therapy. This third, and fully updated, edition includes new self-help and practitioner treatment guidelines for each muscle discussed, covering both cutting-edge trigger point theory and practice. It also contains nearly thirty-two new pages of information on additional muscles. Original chapters have also been extensively refreshed and updated.
With more than 240 full color illustrations and 130 drawings and diagrams, this book contains all the necessary information, examples, and tools for anyone interested in exploring this healing system. Covering anatomy, trigger point therapy, stretching, and self-help in a textbook approach, this new edition is a must-have for students, professional hands-on therapists, and all who wish to gain a greater knowledge of trigger point therapy.
