This Pride Month, we asked NAB authors what we can all can do to support queer and trans writers and artists in the face of book bans and anti-LGBTQIA2S+ discrimination. They shared action steps we each can take, including exercising our political will, taking a stand against capitalism, supporting books by queer authors, and more.
Along with queer book recommendations for adults and young readers, they also expressed how reading and art can affirm the unique joys of being queer, what they hope to see from the publishing world, and how we can all keep the momentum going beyond June 30th.
